Rev Kerry Connell - Manager & Registrar

BE(Hons) from University of Queensland, DipMin ThL and BMin  from Australian College of Theology, Grad Cert IT from University of New England (Armidale).

Kerry spent his first 17 working years with the State Electricity Commission and its forebears in Queensland working as an engineer.  This included two years in Europe under the auspices of a Cornwall Scholarship (UQ).

In 1985 Kerry went to Tahlee Bible College to train for ministry which resulted in his staying on staff there as Manager until 1992.  During this time he also pastored Bulahdelah Uniting Church for 5 years on a part-time basis.  He then pastored full time at Raymond Terrace Baptist for three years before being invited in 1996 to manage Morling College (Baptist NSW) in Sydney.

In 2003 the family returned home to Brisbane where he joined the Malyon faculty to supervise the move to our new location at Mitchelton and to give general management and administrative oversight of the college. Kerry served as Registrar 2006-08 and is again acting in this role from June 2011 onwards.

Kerry is also on staff at Southbank Baptist Church where he is heading up a major redevelopment project for the church.
