Workplace Christians at Malyon
Flexible and relevant graduate or degree-level, part-time or full-time study options that equip Christians to more effectively think and influence as biblical Christians in their workplace.
Diploma of Ministry (with a major in biblical thinking)
- Tuesday Evening Lectures
We have designed a Diploma of Ministry for workplace Christians. The 8 unit DipMin is a distinct qualification, but it also forms the first year of a 24 unit Master of Divinity.
The “major in biblical thinking” is designed for Christians who are seeking a better understanding of how the teaching of Scripture relates to their life and ministry in the church, community and workforce.
The DipMin needs to be completed in four years, so a student must complete at least one unit each semester. Students can actually choose any of the units that Malyon offers. The units suggested below are all offered on a Tuesday evening and are designed to fulfil the requirements of the ACT DipMin as well as assist students to think and relate biblically.
Most of the units below are also offered by distance. We are hoping eventually to offer all our units by on-line distance as well as attendance modes.
The Diploma of Minisry is a fully accredited course through the Australian College of Theology. As such, all students are eligible for FEE-HELP.
There are 20 ACT teaching colleges throughout Australia. Units can be completed at any of these colleges and credited towards the GradDip at Malyon. Some ACT colleges will offer further distance units.
Graduate Certiciate and Graduate Diploma of Divinity (with a major in biblical thinking)
- Tuesday Evening Lectures
We have also designed a Graduate Certificate of Divinity and a Graduate Diploma of Divinity for workplace Christians who already have a degree. The 4 unit GradCertDiv is a distinct qualification, but it also forms the first semester of a 24 unit Master of Divinity The 8 unit GradDipDiv is also a distinct qualification, and forms the first year of a 24 unit Master of Divinity.
