Malyon Pastoral Award

This is a specific award designed for experienced Accredited Pastors moving towards ordination.  Baptist Pastors are normally required to do either 4 MA(Min) subjects as part of an ACT Master of Arts or alternatively complete the Malyon Pastoral Award.

The Malyon Pastoral Award comprises doing 6 Units of Master of Arts at the non-accredited level.  This involves doing the lecture content of the MA units together with the required reading and then providing a 1,000 word reflection on the unit to show how you have absorbed and interacted with the unit material.  This award is only available to approved ordination candidates completing it in lieu of an ACT MA(Min).

Prerequisites:

Ministry degree or diploma plus ministry position
OR
5 years ministry experience
