Distance Study
Undergraduate Distance Units
Malyon offers eight undergraduate distance units each year. This makes up the first year of a Bachelor of Ministry (BMin) or Bachelor of Theology (BTh). Students wishing to complete the full degree by distance can easily continue their study with a wide range of units from other ACT distance providers or change to attendance mode.
We are especially keen to establish a supportive relationship with distance students in Queensland.
In 2010 we are offering the following distance units:
Semester 1
NT301 - Content and Setting of Gospel Traditions (Intro to NT 1 - The Gospels)
OT301 - Formative Old Testament Traditions (Intro to OT 1 - Creation to the Kingdom)
CH302 - The Church from 1550 to Modern Times
PC301 - Ministry Formation
Semester 2
NT302 - The Early New Testament Church (Intro to NT 2 - Acts and Epistles)
OT302 - From Israel to Judea (Intro to OT 2 - Kings and Prophets)

Graduate Distance Units
Malyon offers eight graduate distance units each year. This makes up a full Graduate Diploma (GradDipDiv) or the first year of a Master of Divinity (MDiv). According to ACT regulations, only one year of an ACT MDiv may be completed in distance mode. Students wishing to complete the MDiv will therefore need to change to attendance mode. Students who would like a wider range of distance unit options can choose from the broad variety of units offered by other ACT distance providers without changing colleges. Contact the Registrar if you want further information.

All our other MA units are offered by one week intensives (with significant pre-intensive preparation and post-intensive assignments).
